Really nice chips tonight however they were cold. I had them open so ate them straight away in my car right outside. Thought about going back in there to take them back but decided not to. Would go there again but if cold again I will return them next time.

I used to come very consistently as the food is quite nice here but I have noticed that recently the service is much slower now and customer service is inconsistent, you never know what kind of attitude you will get. 15 minutes for just medium chips with only one other person ahead of me seems very unreasonable.
I’m an American tourist and this place was the iconic fish and chips shop that people always talk about. I ate there 3 times during my stay in Peterborough and my kids and I were never disappointed with the food. The staff were so friendly and made the experience memorable.
