Met with friends after work. We haven't been here for a very long time & what a lovely surprise. It was bright & airy with friendly staff. We just had soft drinks & sat chatting. We will definitely go again.

We had guests over from Sweden, and had booked for a meal on Sunday. Come the day and the pub had a problem with drains that would affect their opening. I think they must have phoned us back 3 - 4 times to keep us updated. In the end the problem was sorted and our booking was a bit delayed. Food, service and staff were great, they really tried very hard, and should be congratulated for their efforts. Well done all!

We popped in on a whim for a lunch for our anniversary.
We were looked after by James and Jamie.
Attentive service, and good recommendations from the specials menu.
Soy and chilli pork belly was outstanding. Whilst Mrs L had the seafood platter.
Both meals exceptional.

First visit to Fox and Hounds and certainly won’t be our last. Went for lunch with both of us having 3 courses. Food was fresh and cooked to perfection. I’ve given food 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1. Garlic mushroom starter consisted of approximately 3 small mushrooms cut in half, personally for nearly £7 I would have expected a few more. 2. They had run out of Bakewell tart. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place for food to all friends and family. Looking forward to our next visit where I will pre order the Bakewell tart!

Have been here a few times now. Service is always great and normally very quick. Food is delicious- couldn't fault at all. Car park is fairly small but does extend round the back and we have always luckily managed to get parked. Would definitely recommend.

Lunchtime meal with friends, great food menu and real ale choice. Green King summer ale was very good. Signature burger great but the sticky toffee pudding was the best I have ever tasted 😋. Very helpful and friendly staff, we will be back.
