Lovely lunch. Came across "Smile" whilst looking for Waitrose to buy Jerusalem artichokes. Not being over hungry, we went with the Clams (nice to see them on a menu) and the chicken skewer . A plate of 'hors d'oeuvre arrived along with hot bread, olives, chick peas, lightly pickled carrots and sardine pate. an excellent pre meal nibble. The clams were cooked to perfection, the skewer was also very well cooked and presented . GREAT meal. Thanks

Knowing the Restaurant since opening, don't really remember how many times I've come here.
Today I came just to see a Portuguese football match, but I ask for the soup of the day: spinach soup; as you can see the pic. Couldn't resist...

Tatsy and very filling. Random place to stop, had good food, different but it was definitely worth the adventure. Live music on alternate Fridays till late, unfortunately not here to try that yet but looking forward to coming back soon.

Had a bite to eat for lunch and it was very nice. Pork steak and fries with 3 bottles of sagres to wash it down, good price also, was busy also a good sign, very clean inside and the staff were courteous and friendly
My partner and I enjoyed trying to bunch of new dishes in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The service was great and we really felt welcome and appreciated.
