Standard cod was a 4/5 and chips were a 4/5. Food wise from me that's a high rating. Service and prices were good. Good sides and sauces. Bonus: hard to find halal fish and chips. 5 stars overall.

Freshly made lovely crispy fish and awesome chips. Love the curry sauce too. Really great customer service. Been here lots of times and never had a bad meal.

Excellent food and service - order in advance then pick it up fresh.
Just ask for chips to be soft not to be crunchy though as sometimes they can be - and ask for middle piece of cod. Halal and yummy. Try the sausages too battered.

I said I'd leave a review, and here it is. The shop is clean and inviting, parking not too problematic on street despite it being a busy area and my visit at a busy time. Staff welcoming friendly and professional, felt like a valued customer. Price excellent, portion size generous. Chips very pleasant and batter was really nice on the fish. Cod good rather than excellent. Not a frequent visitor to P town, but this will now be my go-to when we do visit family. A good local business run by good people, certainly at this stage beats the competition locally and will continue to grow I hope.

There is fish and chips and then there is Oxford's fish and chips! They are in a league of their own. The chips always taste lovely and fresh and all cut to one size and cooked just right. The fish too is cooked to perfection, the batter is well mixed too. The place is really clean which is great to see.
