Was a nice little place to have dinner. Had some local ale on tap along with a decent selection of other beverages. Very friendly family running the place, who were very helpful.
There is a carpark round the back of the place.
If going with a large group it is worth phoning up to book food in advance.
This place exceeded our expectations! After spending an uncomfortable night at a gross hotel in Radstock where there wasn't even any soap, at the Boughton Arms we were greeted at the door by the owners and welcomed into the beautiful inn (for the same price as the gross hotel). We all loved our stay there: it was spotless, the beds were super comfy, and to top it off, the owners are absolutely lovely. Highly HIGHLY recommend the Boughton Arms and if I'm ever in England again, it's my first choice for a stay.

Me and my family went to this pub twice on holiday. Food is lovely, and at affordable prices. Owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. Dog friendly too!
Stayed for two nights and couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Clean presentable rooms in a beautiful village. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

This is quite true, because when I've visited Peterchurch, it's been the church in the old Station Road, (now Church Road) I've visited, and it's GOOGLE MAPS that has me down as visiting The Boughton Arms.
I'm sure it must a good place, seems to be very popular, with people coming and going all the while. It always makes me smile when I see the sign outside 'Boots and Paws Welcome - which to me means a friendly place. So on the strength of those observations, I feel I should upgrade my opinion to 5 from 1 even though I've never been inside The Boughton Arms.

Lovely traditional b and b, very clean, warm and friendly. Didn't eat here, but menu was varied and well priced, so we wished we did.
Lovely pub good place to take your kids for a afternoon drink and plenty to do. Babys, toddlers and young kids well looked after by the landlord and landlady

It's a lovely small village pub, that welcomes everyone and allows dogs to join their owners for a drink.
The new landlord and landlady are really nice and make you feel welcome. Dog friendly and good atmosphere
