Always get a cheery smile from the staff behind the counter. Always phone order in first, and they know my voice, so as not to add to the queue in the shop. Great food, fair prices, and wonderful service. Would highly recommend.

“Fish and Chips”: excellent chips, just like they should be. We rarely get fish but the battered sausage and pies are great. Curried chips also a favourite. “Chinese”: also very good, garlic and ginger, prawn toast, fried rice. Never had a bad order. “Cash only”: seriously?, major downer as don’t carry much cash these days. So much lost business. Would be 5* with contactless.

Very good fish and chips on the few occasions I've visited. Fresh oil without odour or flavour, good cod and good size portions. Far and away better than the chippy in Marlborough...which I've found to be pretty rotten.
