Wow!! Just fabulous!! Homemade scones to die for!! Details are spot on. Ginger, lemon scones, incredible orange marmalade, clotted cream, Taylor’s tea is superb! Sweet cakes were delicious. Loved the tea sets, atmosphere, service, and outdoor setting. Thank you ladies for an overseas trip hig
We had afternoon tea here today, everything was amazing, lovely soft bread, delicious sandwiches, lovely touch with the fruit cup, fabulous scones and cakes. Just wonderful, thank you
The tea room is an experience well worth having. The atmosphere and service are excellent, the choice of cakes and sandwiches are good. I have to eat gluten free and the choice of things to eat were the same as everyone else. Highly recommended.
We sat outside on a hot afternoon and enjoyed the most delicious homemade scones and cake. The china that they use for tea is so pretty with fresh, loose tea served. Throughly recommend the lemon and ginger scones, served with lemon curd and clotted cream.
Absolutely 1st class for everything. Nice warm scones, lovely sponge cakes etc. Sandwiches were wonderful, good selection and so fresh. Nice cosy tearoom atmosphere and service was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend a visit if in the area.
What a beautiful gem this little tea parlour is. We had the afternoon tea, the homemade scone was my favourite. The sandwiches would be more tastier with nice salty butter and possibly a bit stronger cheese.
What a beautiful place, my wife and I called in this morning for the first time but it won't be the last, the friendliness was as great as the food. Speciality soup today was sausage and vegetable with local 'proper' butcher's sausage and fresh local vegetables, not your imitation stuff! We followed
Lovely little tea room with very friendly staff. Excellent menu with gluten free options.
Fantastic food and service we loved every minute of it we had the afternoon tea gorgeous it was booked up for my birthday in July for the ploughman's which looked great well done all..
We attended a 'pudding club' event. All the puddings were delicious but my favourite was the lemon surprise. 😀. The tea room was pretty and traditional with matching old-fashioned china tea cups, silver cutlery that brought back memories of my gran and nice tablecloths. A pleasant, relaxed atmospher
Lovely friendly tea room..plenty of choice ..we'll worth a visit, and seems to stay open a bit later than others.
Such a cute little tea room with a vintage vibe and delicious tea and cakes. We had the blueberry, raspberry and lime drizzle cake (warm and completely more-ish) and the Wensleydale apple cake. Jams, marmalades and tea cosies also sold. Would happily return here and try more of the cakes! Popular pl
The almost perfect tea room - delicious home baked food served on sparkling vintage crockery 💞
Beautiful old fashioned post office tea room in a lovely village great service and food staff amazing.
Great place for a lovely afternoon tea. Friendly, attentive staff.
Very pleasant retro (1940's ish) English tearoom. The food (we had the scones) was excellent. The only drawback was the limited parking (on the edge of a very busy main road). Otherwise well worth a visit (also handy if you need to post a letter as it is also the village Post Office).
A beautiful quirky little tearoom. We went for a quick bite for lunch, but the afternoon tea looked amazing! Everything served on pretty china crockery. And the service was first rate.
A nice little tea room on the main road as you go through the village. We had afternoon tea. It was really nice. Everything home made and tasty. Well worth a visit. Would recommend booking in advance
Went for tea and cheese scones today which were fabulous. Served with lovely China tableware. The young lady owner was fantastic and very friendly. Will definitely return and would highly recommend a visit.
