Wow!! Just fabulous!! Homemade scones to die for!! Details are spot on. Ginger, lemon scones, incredible orange marmalade, clotted cream, Taylor’s tea is superb! Sweet cakes were delicious. Loved the tea sets, atmosphere, service, and outdoor setting. Thank you ladies for an overseas trip highlight!!

What a little gem!
A group of six of us went after a long muddy walk.
Staff were very welcoming and chatty, service was good, especially one of our party spilt tea everywhere!
Tea and cake, served beautifully, was just what we needed.
Well done. Recommended!

Called on Sunday we went for the savoury medley. The lady that runs it was very friendly. Nice vintage tea cups and tea pot. Will call again to try something else on the menu 😋

What a beautiful gem this little tea parlour is.
We had the afternoon tea, the homemade scone was my favourite. The sandwiches would be more tastier with nice salty butter and possibly a bit stronger cheese.

The tea room is an experience well worth having. The atmosphere and service are excellent, the choice of cakes and sandwiches are good. I have to eat gluten free and the choice of things to eat were the same as everyone else. Highly recommended.

Such a cute little tea room with a vintage vibe and delicious tea and cakes. We had the blueberry, raspberry and lime drizzle cake (warm and completely more-ish) and the Wensleydale apple cake. Jams, marmalades and tea cosies also sold. Would happily return here and try more of the cakes! Popular place and lovely staff.

We sat outside on a hot afternoon and enjoyed the most delicious homemade scones and cake. The china that they use for tea is so pretty with fresh, loose tea served. Throughly recommend the lemon and ginger scones, served with lemon curd and clotted cream.

What a beautiful place, my wife and I called in this morning for the first time but it won't be the last, the friendliness was as great as the food. Speciality soup today was sausage and vegetable with local 'proper' butcher's sausage and fresh local vegetables, not your imitation stuff! We followed that up with their homemade scones. Everything fresh homemade local produce. Make sure you've got an empty stomach before you go. Fantastic job ladies well done and thank you.

Absolutely 1st class for everything. Nice warm scones, lovely sponge cakes etc. Sandwiches were wonderful, good selection and so fresh. Nice cosy tearoom atmosphere and service was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend a visit if in the area.

The almost perfect tea room - delicious home baked food served on sparkling vintage crockery 💞

We attended a 'pudding club' event. All the puddings were delicious but my favourite was the lemon surprise. 😀. The tea room was pretty and traditional with matching old-fashioned china tea cups, silver cutlery that brought back memories of my gran and nice tablecloths. A pleasant, relaxed atmosphere for the diners. The staff were attentive and friendly and worked hard.

Very pleasant retro (1940's ish) English tearoom. The food (we had the scones) was excellent. The only drawback was the limited parking (on the edge of a very busy main road). Otherwise well worth a visit (also handy if you need to post a letter as it is also the village Post Office).

A nice little tea room on the main road as you go through the village.
We had afternoon tea.
It was really nice. Everything home made and tasty. Well worth a visit.
Would recommend booking in advance

Staff are really welcoming maybe a little slow on service but was well work waiting for freshly made sandwiches etc. Delicious food. We chose toasted sandwiches which arrived with a salad and crisps. All served on proper tea sets. The lemon cake we had to follow was exquisite. Well done we will b back again and again. Well worth a visit AND very reasonably priced.
