Managed to arrive just before the rush. Many dog owners, but plenty of space for all. Good selection of beers including local. Menu looked good but we had other plans.
Saturday evening meal for 6 .... Attentive and friendly staff, good menu (plenty I fancied) and food was nice. Cheese board at the end was fantastic too... Generous portions of cheese. First time we've eaten here and will definitely come again...

We were staying at a campsite near by so popped in for Saturday lunch, the food was delicious we had the steak n ale pie and the burger plus a dessert each, the local beer was very tasty too, service was friendly and very attentive. We will definitely be back when in the area, highly recommend.

Food was nice and portion size is something nobody could complain about although. Nice pub in a absolutely beautiful location.
