We had a fantastic meal at The Buck. The steak pie is to die for. My partner's Big Boy Burger was also delicious. Lovely atmosphere and the landlord and landlady are really friendly. I would recommend The Buck to anyone any time.

Recommend this great little pub. Loved the 73 Gins to choose from. Food was lovely, from great traditional menu to specials that were extremely tasty. Friendly and will defo return

Managed to arrive just before the rush. Many dog owners, but plenty of space for all. Good selection of beers including local. Menu looked good but we had other plans.

Saturday evening meal for 6 .... Attentive and friendly staff, good menu (plenty I fancied) and food was nice. Cheese board at the end was fantastic too... Generous portions of cheese. First time we've eaten here and will definitely come again...

Fantastic little local pub with excellent service, cask beers and great food. We booked a table of 8 over the Xmas period. Booking by email was quick and friendly. All the food was home cooked and delicious. Great selection and everyone’s food was great and arrived quickly. Love a pudding but I’m often disappointed by a standard selection of bought-in stuff- not here!! Proper homemade desserts and custard on offer. Service was terrific- a family business and they clearly work hard and take a lot of pride in what they do. Don’t hesitate to visit.

A lovely little village pub with excellent food and drink. We were made very welcome and enjoyed food that you might expect in a 5* restaurant. We will certainly be back. The Wold Top Beer was served at perfect temperature and went down very nicely. The decor is thoughtful and the improvements made in this pub is a credit to the current owners.

We, a family of five, turned up without a reservation with 1 minute before the chef was due to clock off. The staff were super helpful in keeping the kitchen open for us and setting a table even before we got everyone in the door. The burgers and steak pies we had were fab, even though we had a very fussy child with us. The atmosphere with locals and tourists alike with dogs sitting quietly was really good too. Big thumbs up from us. Thanks folks.

Had meals here two nights running, between us we've had the shoulder of lamb, the 10z steak, the steak and ale pie and the belly pork... All the food has been beautifully cooked and Barbara and Scott couldn't have been any more hospitable if they had tried. Really really welcoming and would definitely visit again! A credit to the local area!
