35 minutes now, waiting for two bloody sandwiches. Not impressed!
Edit: However the quality of the food was very high,
and I just had what may well have been the best coronation chicken sandwich so far.
They definitely need to work on improving waiting times, but the food is right where it should be.

Was a bit dubious trying here as I read the reviews about a grumpy lady but either she weren't there or she was having a good day as we didn't witness anything but a warm welcome and great service. Coffee fab, and breakfast not greasy and very fresh. Im fussy with sausages but these were great! Good quality and very tasty with some spice. Definitely all cooked to order. Delicious thick buttered toast of great quality. Everywhere nice and clean and the ceiling fan made a massive difference, nice and cool. Will definitely go here again. If you're looking for a hot,fresh,well cooked breakfast then look no further! Also nice runny eggs!
The food was delicious as always. I fully understand that at times during busy periods, there may be a delay between ordering and receiving your order. I have visited on several occasions, and today we ordered 2 cold sandwiches to take-out and were advised that there was a 10-15 wait, which was fine I was happy to wait. But after 30 minutes we still hadn't received our order I began to wonder if it was ever going to come. People had come in after us ordered and left! As I said at first, the food is always delicious, just not sure about the wait

Busy breakfast time, but super polite, friendly staff. Table service, which considering how busy didn't take long. Great quality breakfast at a great price, tea/coffee included and you could add extra breakfast items at a small cost, also came with choice of white/granary toast included. Food arrived quickly and piping hot. Good size teapot for two. Service with a smile, friendly atmosphere all round. Will definitely use again when in area.
Lovely staff, great meaty breakfast. A proper veggie alternative would have been nice (and surely not too difficult?). Excellent cakes
The cafe is conveniently round the corner from me and my partner and we love it. We go there a lot. Food is delicious, staff are very friendly and the owner is lovely 🙂
Great breakfast here on our first day in Pickering, coming back for some of their sandwiches and maybe some cake
I had a pizza from Cafe Stop for the first time and I am sold. It was clean, absolutely delicious and most of all it tasted healthy - not full of grease like many places. I am truly impressed that such quality ingredients and pizza is available in Pickering. I’ll be coming back and thank you so much!
