We stayed at the Cayley Arms for 1 night in the Stag room of the hotel and the renovations performed on the original building are nothing less than spectacular. Stopped off when driving by, didn't book, but luckily had a table for 2 available. Had a lovely Sunday roast each. It's probably one of the best I've had. The service was very friendly. Was a lovely pub. Will definitely go again.

While passing through Pickering on a bitterly cold December night, I chanced upon The Cayley Arms. The charming atmosphere, coupled with attentive staff and delicious cuisine, made my visit truly enjoyable. Have driven past this lovely pub/hotel several times when on holiday and finally got round to visiting. What an absolutely delightful place. The garden with a small stream is picturesque and the welcome is warm and friendly. Had a delicious meal, nothing too much trouble and generous portions. Eve
