Second Cup Coffee Co.

This location has dependable tables and wifi, but the owners are not that friendly compared to a Starbucks. They seem obsessed with people using the washroom. There are signs all over the place and are constantly telling people that the washroom is for "paying customers". Some people use the restroom before ordering and they will be all over them about needing to buy something. I have also seen them lie to people that the washroom is down for repairs, but it wasn't as I had just used the restroom. It might cost them 2 cents for someone to flush the toilet. I even see the owner yell at his employees to speak up about "paying customers" can only use the washroom. Come on, be friendly with people. As a paying customer, I don't like seeing people interrogated for using the restroom. Be kind.

Looks nice in picture and site. I like some second cup cafe. February 2022- My plan to have a meeting in this location so before that I went to check their coffee, pastries and environment, I am so glad i checked it out, was a disappointment. Their coffee and pastry taste bad, looks old, small of burned plastic was so strong, environment was dark and unorganized. I didn’t get the vibe.

Not the friendliest of locations. This second cup has been around for a while and hasn't changed much. Service here is a bit slow and prices are pretty high. However the atmosphere inside is pretty good if you're looking for a chill place to do some work, catch up with a friend and grab some coffee. I have noticed that they are one of the few coffee shops that offer sliced cake in addition to pastries. Their Frozen Hot Chocolate is really tasty, but a tad expensive, especially for a small.

Went to this location and ordered Hot chocolate. I was seating working on my laptop and the owner came and he was talking to his employees that he doesn’t like when somebody sits with just one item. He kept stocking me and kept mentioning to his employees that this is not acceptable. I bought something at your cafe, I am working on my laptop alone quietly and still ypu show this negative attitude. Is this how you treat your customers?Ridiculous experience. I would not visit this cafe again.

The staff are disgusting they don’t clean after their selves and they barely even wear gloves The food and the drinks are too high price for microwave food and syrup and water The food is more disgusting because they will just have it out for days and just warm it up and give it to you might as well just go to Tim Hortons
