Lovely lunch. Our children were made to feel very welcome and special. Excellent fish and chips, and one of the best sticky toffee puddings I've ever had. Thank you!
Wow what can I say. Amazing place and staff, they really do go above and beyond for you. We had our wedding reception here. Perfect. Even got us a wedding card. I've never felt so welcome. Organised isn't the word for it. I can not fault a thing. I would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you weary fr
Our first visit back to The Weary Friar was a pleasant surprise. It's much better now than it was 5 or so years ago. Great food and super friendly staff. Best Sunday lunch we've had in years.
We stayed locally and we wanted to stop for some food. Great quality food with large food portions. About average prices. Friendly staff who were very accommodating for our golden retriever. Would visit again.

Food/drinks- had a good meal, buzzy pub and bar area, reasonably priced. Staff very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Quirky bar area-clean and modern toilets. Would recommend for a meal or a pint! Accomodation - Bit tired around the edges - our room was pokey, bathroom was dark (no n
A lovely country pub offering good quality food at reasonable prices. Made to feel welcome, friendly and attentive staff
Had a tasty meal in here - they have the usual range of pub meals - prices bit cheaper than other pubs in the area. There is seating at the front of the pub & a large room at the back. We sat in the front and enjoyed a few drinks and meals. Was busy at 7pm but by 830pm it was pretty quiet.
Lovely rooms and lovely staff, can't complain it's was 5 star all the way through.
Lovely old pub, wonderful food. Every family member was raving about how good the meal was
4 meals here on our 7 night holiday food delicious, pub clean staff friendly plenty meu choice. 15 minute walk from holiday cottage was ideal for us and reasonably priced
Had a really nice meal large helping and all very tasty. As I had mentioned it was for my wifes birthday when booking, she was treated to balloons and banners which were not asked for but still done. Would recommend to anyone thinking of having a meal here. Excellent service.
It was a precarious drive to a wonderful spot. The outside of the hotel was fantastic but nothing compared to the inside. We only had a drink there but the staff was very accommodating.
Popped in for dinner, a lovely place with an old-time vibe. Hoof food, good atmosphere, friendly people.
Speculative lunch stop, nice food and very pleasant staff and the beer was also very drinkable
