Lovely friendly service. The lunchtime menu is very reasonable with two courses for under £12. I had hot salt beef and ox tongue with potato latkes and a side order of new green cucumbers. Delicious! For dessert I had lokshen pudding which was lovely but slightly too lemony. My wife had fishballs with a lovely salad, and Apple strudel to finish. Lovely food, service and personnel.

Without doubt the best salt beef now in London. Even better than it's parent restaurant in Edgeware, because they have more friendly, helpful staff and comparable superb non kosher "kosher" food. To say it is as good as my mother used to make, is pushing it, though very close! From the salt beef through the tongue, kneidlech soup, chopped liver etc.etc. you will not find fresher higher quality anywhere else. All cooked daily, on site, it is just mouth wateringly superb, and I go there about once a fortnight despite an hour long round trip from High Wycombe, it is so delicious and such excellent value, particularly the lunchtime fixed menu.
Salt Beef of Destiny. I have travelled the 60mi or so several times just to sample their Salt Beef Sandwich. Oh, and to visit my friend in the vicinity, naturally.
"Just Right" Fattiness of the well cooked/seasoned meat, combines with the aniseedy notes of the rye bread, together with the punchy Mustard, leaving me in a pleasure-induced coma. On top of which, service is exemplary, to the point they recognise you from the first visit (not everyone travels 60mi for a sandwich I guess). Their other dishes are very well too, particularly the Apple Strudel, rigorously homemade. It's all about the Salt Beef though. It has given my life, new meaning.

We ordered 1 Reuben salt beef sandwich on white bloomer & a salt beef in a bagel. They were so mouth watering and astonishing delicious! The waitress also kindly gave us a fish ball to try, it was very very tasty.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and ordered a Reuben sandwich. I was presented with two huge wedges of salt beef, cheese and a pickled cucumber, garnished with a salad. Delicious and more than enough for both lunch and dinner! Recommended!
Excellent salt beef bar and the only one for miles around. Prices are good and portions generous. All the usual things you'd expect on the menu and cheerful staff. Almost everything is also available to takeaway (hurrah!) for an extended experience.
Came here for a salt beef sandwich and absolutely loved it. The bread was fresh and the beef was perfectly cooked. The sandwich all forget was fantastic the staff was also very friendly and professional. Loved it, will be back. Highly recomend it.

OMG my first visit.....great service warm and friendly vibe. And the food was delicious salt beef was so good l had to take a portion home along with some fish balls and pickled herrings. Yum. Thank you.
Been coming here for years. The guys at the counter are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Always smiling and happy to dish out samples and tasters to help you decide.
The salt beef sandwiches here are to die for and are the main attraction. Recommend it on l rye with mustard and mayo.
Make sure to try a few fish balls as well.
