Probably my favourite pub I've ever been to. I don't even live local, but whenever I travel to kent, i just have to visit the blue anchor. Friendly staff, friendly locals and great beer and food. I highly recommend giving the blue anchor a visit.

Great old pub, my first visit, lovely landlady, nice range of snacks on the bar, great choice of beers & lagers followed by a super menu for Sunday lunch. Will definitely come again.

A friendly establishment with a great atmosphere. We sat in the garden for a drink and really enjoyed our surroundings. We will definitely be back for more and next time we will try the food.

Very spacious terrace. Nice to dine outside when the weather is nice. Highly recommend!

I have fond memories of drinking here with my brother and Dad having grown up in the area and always thought of it as a good local boozer. The restaurant at the back of the pub is light and comfortable, overlooking a wooden decking area and orchard garden while the inside of the pub is cosy with open fires. I had a lunchtime meal here and was surprised at such a varied and inspired menu and the chef was more than willing to adapt any meal to be gluten free for my coeliac Mother. The food was delicious and of an incredibly high standard and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. I would absolutely eat here again without a doubt.
