I had the belly pork and it was delicious. A lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. Had to wait some time for food as they were busy but totally worth the wait.

Service great food fantastic.They even offered our dog a sausage, one or two cooked it and served it on her own plate when we got our food .Above and beyond all expectations

Never disappointed eating here, lovely food, huge portions which we managed to demolish and had pudding which we had to share as one each would have been too much. Staff are always attentive but not in your face.

Best pub in Plymouth and one of the best ever. Authentic decor, friendly staff, good proper ales and incredible food. Awesome garden over the road too.

lunch with my family today at clovelly bar inn was superb !!! I had the Greek lamb in a pitta which was amazing. There chips are proper crispy and cooked to perfection. My daughter was super happy that on the kids menu they had a fish fingers sandwich with chips.
Portion size was very generous. Can’t wait to go back to try out the rest of the menu.
Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend this pub to anyone. Thanks very much

A little bit of a hidden gem, this. Steak and Stilton pie was a great meal, really good size portion and very very tasty indeed. Will definitely come back and have it again. Pub is sweet, small and traditional. Food excellent (based on limited experience), beer selection safe and uninspiring.

What a little Gem! Great atmosphere…. Great food…. Perhaps a little too much…. Amazing staff… I really enjoyed my few nights there … Charlotte the manager is such a fabulous host…. Seriously a place not to be missed!

Excellent pub near to the waters edge really hidden unless you know it is there. We stayed at an Airbnb (crows nest, also recommended) just a short walk up the hill
Place can be busy so suggest booking. Warm armosphere with good selection of ales etc although seems more of a place to eat in the evening than just have a drink.
Really good menu and a specials board.
Food was excellent. Menu said real chips but unreal chips is a better discription. Meals we had were 1st class and whilst portions are large they are well presented and quality couldn't be faulted
The staff are all really warm and friendly with a smile even when busy
Food cooked to order and so was slow coming out but well worth the wait.
Can recommend and if you are in the area really the place to go for at least one meal.
