We are at the Village on Saturday Night. The atmosphere was great. The welcome was warm and friendly. The food was out of this world, and our Polish waitress was always smiling and helpful!😃👍
It was the best meal we've had in ages, and not only would I recommend the Village, but it'll be the first place I visit when I next visit Plymouth. Well done the Village!😃👍💥
Amazing food, amazing service ( even though it was crazy busy tonight). Will 100% be going back and telling more people to go �. Totally recommend the pate it’s stunning and the seafood or mixed grill.
This is a great place for a tasty, home cooked meal. There’s an extensive menu, plus daily specials. Dishes were presented well, in addition to tasting good. Prices are reasonable for the area, especially the set menu (Sunday-Friday) and the staff were friendly.
We had our first meal at The Village on the Barbican last night. Wow. The food was so tasty it was unreal.
Prices are very reasonable for how nice the food was and how generous the portion sizes are.
Staff were very friendly and answered any questions we had as well as recommendations.

Popped in for a Sunday roast, as we walked in a waitress came straight over to sit us. Brought menus and wine list to our table. I ordered a Tribute and my wife ordered coke no ice, and the brought a glass with ice..
We both had the soup of the day which was mushroom and the lamb roast. Both of which was very nice. For dessert I had the chocolate fudge cake with ice-cream and my wife ordered white americano and the brought no milk... Had to ask twice for the bill. Couldn't fault the meals. Would recommend to a friend.
My son chose this restaurant as he wanted fish. There were 6 of us, no one was disappointed and we were all very full. Fish was fantastic, great value, service was excellent. Would recommend. Would come back if we lived closer. I had the trio of fish 😋
My fisherman’s platter was very fresh and delicious. I love the tiger prawns and scallops, meaty and juicy! Octopus were soft and not chewy, cooked to the perfection. Every single mussel was fresh and delicious. This is probably the best seafood I have ever had in the UK so far, after living 5 years in London.
The restaurant is small but cozy, and the mushrooms are surprisingly delicious. They are appetizing and retain the freshness of the mushrooms exceptionally well.

What we had was lovely and hot and Delicious.
Visited here on a Saturday afternoon, and took advantage of the special lunch menu. Staff are fantastic; really friendly and welcoming which pairs great with the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere of the restaurant.
Food was served promptly and was sublime! I opted for the Cyprus Bruschetta to start - fresh, balanced, and delicious! The chicken Diane I had for my main was amazing! Served piping hot (food temperature is a big thing for me!)…the sauce was perfect, chicken was tender, and the rice was the perfect accompaniment.
Our meal came to just over £36 which included two starters, two mains, and two bottles of Mythos beer - great value for money! Would highly recommend 😃
As usual, great food at realistic prices. Took visiting friends here for a treat, and they really enjoyed all the courses. Lovely atmosphere with a welcoming and friendly staff.
