This is a great place for a tasty, home cooked meal. There’s an extensive menu, plus daily specials. Dishes were presented well, in addition to tasting good. Prices are reasonable for the area, especially the set menu (Sunday-Friday) and the staff were friendly.

We had our first meal at The Village on the Barbican last night. Wow. The food was so tasty it was unreal. Prices are very reasonable for how nice the food was and how generous the portion sizes are. Staff were very friendly and answered any questions we had as well as recommendations. Would definitely go back again.

Popped in for a Sunday roast, as we walked in a waitress came straight over to sit us. Brought menus and wine list to our table. I ordered a Tribute and my wife ordered coke no ice, and the brought a glass with ice.. We both had the soup of the day which was mushroom and the lamb roast. Both of which was very nice. For dessert I had the chocolate fudge cake with ice-cream and my wife ordered white americano and the brought no milk... Had to ask twice for the bill. Couldn't fault the meals. Would recommend to a friend.
