Jake's is the dream greasy spoon. No finesse, airs or graces, just hot, supremely tasty, artery-hardening food, the stuff of cold-weather cravings. The melts and cheesy fries are particularly good. Because the food is prepared to order, it can take awhile, so we find it best to telephone ahead. Here

Does what it says on the tin - ever reliable.
