Genuinely the best grill in Plymouth. I live up the road so visit regularly and they’ve delivered an amazing service with great food every single time. The pieces of cod are huge and cooked perfectly, ridiculously generous portion sizes, great selection of options for everyone and not to mention how lovely all of the guys in there are. I'd forgotten how good this place is. Honestly amazing.
I used to live on the same road as these guys, just a few houses up, as a student. So used to go often. I remember enjoying it. So when I was out in my van and needed to stop for some laundry, I remembered the launderette opposite and this chippy / kebab shop.
I called in and asked for a mixed kebab and briefly chatted to the gents I recognized behind the counter. It must be almost 10 years. So as my kebab is being done. I ask to have a battered sausage thrown in.
Now id forgot these legends are so generous. So I got my lovely fresh, not greasy kebab with a load of nice salad and a scoop of chips. Plus this sausage in a separate wrap of paper with another massive scoop of chips. It was all super fresh and I'd not paid a penny for any chips.
The chippy opposite me at home charges me a few quid for a scoop of chips. You wait ages and your lucky if they are fresh or theyve changed the oil. Not here. These guys are brilliant.
If you are near by, youve got to pop in and try out their food. You won't regret it.
One of the best chippies I've ever visited, the sausages in batter I had were lovely and my wife loved her fish cakes, the chips were good and plentiful, definitely the best fish & chip shop in Plymouth.
Brilliant service every time we come here which is why this is the only chip shop we would use.
Always so friendly with my boys, talking about football and how their day has been.
Food is always amazing too.

Best place to get fresh & clean kebab

These brothers continue to provide a great service, quality of food and have maintained providing good portions which is hugely important for us customers.
Unfortunately I had a couple of issues with waiting longer than others who came after me, and some misunderstanding due to language barrier, but the servers made this up to me.
You know when you find a place that is good, but you don’t want to share it because it will become busy?
Well this is the best take away in Plymouth and it serves everything, the prices are cheap and the portions are good, plus when your normal chippy is shut at around 9:30pm this place is open till 11pm Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed and Thurs and 12am Fri and Sat. You tell me a chippy open till those hours.
The staff are always friendly and get you seen to as quick as possible.
The only downside is parking, but it’s worth finding a parking space nearby and walk a short distance. This place deserves 5*.
