Wonderful place to have some lunch. Very good food and snacks. You've got to be careful not to order too much though because the food is well priced and filling.
Chocolate shop selling the usual Thornton favourites. Inside there is a great cafe. Service is OK. Staff are polite.
The jewel in the crown are the hot chocolates.
You'd expect a good one coming from Thornton's but these are superb... and full of calories.. Yum yum!
Had a lovely coffee today in this Thorntons. Girls were all super busy but had the time to ask how my day was. Hannah Was exceptionally helpful to help chose the right Easter egg for my grandson with which Kat wrote his name on for me. This shop is a credit to you all at Thorntons.

My sister and I frequently stop here for refreshments and enjoy sitting outside when sunny. I ordered a pot of tea and as I like tea quite strong I asked for an extra tea bag only to he told that would cost me an extra 45p!! Not impressed Thorntons, maybe you could order in stronger tea bags 🤔
Lovely cafe serving light snacks,teas, coffees, cakes and a yummy chocolate with your order...whats not to like....the toilets!! Could do with an upgrade x

A wonderful cafe situated in the top of Plymouth city center new George Street.
Whether it's a wedge of home made cake or fancy dessert, a sandwhich or toastie, maybe even soup of the day with a roll or simply just a drink, Thornton's have you covered.
A friendly place with good vibes where the staff are more than happy to assist you .
Ample seating and disabled access easy for wheelchairs/mobility scooters to get around.
The chocolate part of the shop caters for everyone... a nice box of chocolates or a slab of chocolate with a message on, a bear, football or even just a regular size bar of chocolate it's all here. Flavours in abundance...chilli, ginger, salted caramel just a few to mention. Not forgetting the good old milk, dark and white collections.
Deals throughout the year on lots of these tempting treats, aswell as their well known ice-cream which begins selling late spring early summer . Definitely value for money in this happy cafe .. from pocket money chocolate for kiddies to full blown luxury for that extra special occasion
There is a gift wrapping service aswell as a writing a message on your product for a small extra cost. this is definitely the creme de la crème .
Always a nice coffee here and staff very pleasent and hard working, shame the complementary chocolate with coffee went from two to one!! Its a nice extra and if you really like the chocolate you may purchase a little bag on way out...
