West Park Chippy

Really good fish and chips, really enjoyed it. We rang up half an hour before closing on the offchance they'd have some fish and chips left over from the evening as most places run on what's left over for the last 30 to 60 minutes before closing but west park cooked us our stuff fresh and we left west park with hot food after closing hours, there were even people ordering food 5 minutes before closing. This is good service. Good food. Good prices considering cost of living. And a welcome change to the almost anti customer attitudes of other establishments which don't cook fresh close to closing or close early if there's a lack of food fall. Everyone in here was lovely too.

I've been coming to this chippy for over 20 years. No matter where I live I travel to eat from here. Great choices, well cooked and not all greasy.. The best fish and chips! They have little desserts to take away and the best milkshake machine ever. There's a cafe next door which opens in the daytime. I've not eaten here but a family member has and thought it was great.
