Lovely little place to get a bite to eat/celebrate an event. Food is absolutely amazing. Would fully recommend the steak/chicken & ham pie.
Really friendly/attentive staff. Bit of a wait to get in but just shows how popular the place is.

Rather busy at 3 on a Sunday but we were sat promptly and served. Its a carvery style thing which I am not a fan of but no need to queue like my last experience of a carvery..
The car park is rough but plenty of space, just go easy. it's a good stop right near dartmoor.
Always enjoy eating here, breakfast, lunch and roast. Food is always amazing and so is the staff and service. Dog friendly is important to me but these are above and beyond and sell doggie ice cream!
A very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. My family and I preferred choice of meal is the carvery. You can ask for 2 different choices of meat from 4 .There are plenty of different vegetables to pick from and sauces to compliment that. Upon selecting the meal my eyes are fixed on the sweets. Salivating as you do the variety of cakes is impressive, but guess what , never do I have the space set aside after eating all my main course meal to comfortably eat a sweet. Damn. !!!
Perfectly situated for those who are keen to venture onto the moor after a quick bite to eat. The food was well seasoned, cooked perfectly and was overall a thumbs up.
The staff were not only friendly, but seemed genuinely happy to be there, which was surprising based on how busy it was. Overall, it really added to the positive experience and one that will warrant a return.
The only slight downside was the lack of elbow space. The tables seem a little too cramped together, but given how busy it was at 11am (not exactly rush hour), I can understand the need to fit as many customer as possible.
Overall, the food was excellent and the service was top-not, particularly given how busy it was.
Thanks for the hunters chicken and sorry I was too full to enjoy it all at once, but even having been warmed up at home 6 hours later, it was still filled with flavour!

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had and I’ve had a lot. We ate outside in the garden because we love the sound of traffic and had a dog with us but said friendly dogs welcome so I assume that’s inside too. Definitely go there more often
The Dartmoor Diner is a lovely place to have lunch before your trip over the moors. Great food and a very pleasant atmosphere. Staff go out of their way to make sure you are completely satisfied with all aspects of your meal and I strongly recommend this diner!
Tje service was fantastic it was extremely busy but the lovely lady who served us couldn't do enough for us and the cakes are amazing will definitely go back 😍

We came here for a family meal to have the carvery and it was lovely. Everyone was super friendly, the food was amazing and we had a great afternoon. My gran and aunty come in here a lot but this was our first time and would definitely go back.
Popped in here after a dog walk, just had a coffee and some toast, so can't really comment on the food. The service however was really good. This place is really popular so you need to get here early to be sure of a table.
