This chip shop is by far the cheapest in plymouth and the quality of the food puts alot of others to shame. Mark the owner goes above and beyond to give you the best service he can, we travel across plymouth to get our food from here and we've never been disappointed. Everyone should try this place
Great value for money and a decent large portions and a Big foot sausage that is huge. Not any real vegan options but chips and a pickled egg with curry sauce is good enough

First time visiting the Codmothers this evening. Great little place. Staff are very friendly. Lovely portions and great value for money. There was two of us but was advised a large portion would be enough to feed four! Definitely recommend the Codmothers and will be returning again soon!

Good quality fish and chips, friendly and polite staff. The batter was crispy, the chips weren't overdone and the Cod had a good taste. My only slight criticism was that the curry sauce was a little bit watery. Very reasonably priced.

Best Chippy in Plymouth by far.. the chips are just right, the portions are generous and yes you can get a battered mars or snickers bar here. The staff are friendly too. I just had fish (cod) n chips it was just what was needed. Recommend. I forgot to take photos sorry!
The best fish and chips and curry sauce I've eaten and the prices are excellent value for money and possibly too cheap! Some fish and chip shops are charging small fortunes but Codmothers are superb!! Well done and please do not change what you're doing 👍
The staff are very friendly, reasonable prices, good size portions, the 'bigfoot' sausage is amazing, you can have it plain or battered. Definitely recommend this place again and again l

Lovely crispy batter on a really decent size medium Cod. Large chips are massive, easily filled all three of us. Really tasty!
