This chip shop is by far the cheapest in plymouth and the quality of the food puts alot of others to shame. Mark the owner goes above and beyond to give you the best service he can, we travel across plymouth to get our food from here and we've never been disappointed. Everyone should try this place out seriously

First time visiting the Codmothers this evening. Great little place. Staff are very friendly. Lovely portions and great value for money. There was two of us but was advised a large portion would be enough to feed four! Definitely recommend the Codmothers and will be returning again soon!

Best Chippy in Plymouth by far.. the chips are just right, the portions are generous and yes you can get a battered mars or snickers bar here. The staff are friendly too. I just had fish (cod) n chips it was just what was needed. Recommend. I forgot to take photos sorry!

Lovely crispy batter on a really decent size medium Cod. Large chips are massive, easily filled all three of us. Really tasty!
