What a fantastic place! Fresh food, extremely generous portions, great service and atmosphere too. You can see everything is presented beautifully.

For starters we had stuffed vine leaves and fried cheese, and for mains we had the vegetarian moussaka and the mixed grill.

We was recommended this place buy our son and boy was we glad he did! Beautiful, freshly cooked food in abundance. Tasty, cooked to perfection and the flavour was amazing. With a great atmosphere and excellent service, we just couldn’t wish for more. The Turkish coffee has to be tried to be truly appreciated
I am not sure where to start from but I guess I have to start somewhere. Delicious food very tasty you should try it. Need I say that the staff are all amazing, courteous and respectful, excellent customer service. Atmosphere is clean and beautiful. I celebrated my graduation there. So I would recommend them again and again. Thank you Dunya for making my graduation dinner a wonderful experience. They have one of the best managers as well.
Favourite restaurant in Plymouth. Never disappoints been coming for years! Excellent portion sizes, good quality food and service. Staff lovely as always, if you're looking for a place for dinner don't waste your time just go to Dunya you will never be disappointed!
We didn't book, so were very pleased they accommodated us. Food was delicious! The homemade bread was lovely. The only remark is that while we were finishing the starters a lady asked whether we were ready for main courses. Restaurant had empty tables, so there was need to rush us. We do not like to be rushed but enjoy the food.
I’ve been working away in Plymouth now on and off for several weeks and today was the first night I really wasn’t bothered about going out for food.
After a little conversation with a fellow work mate we decided to hit the town.
We’ve walked past Dunya’s possible close to 1000 times and finally decided to give it a go.

Came in here to grab a quick bite to eat and and I was really impressed. Went for the Iskender Lamb which was really good and I would definitely recommend. The food came out really quickly and the staff were friendly and attentive. I also went for the Mediterranean beer which again was really good. Overall I would say this place is definitely worth a visit. You could come here for a meal with friends and family, or quick meal on your own.
This is a really good Turkish restaurant. They have really nice service and it was really quick. We had a later lunch around 14:00. There was just us in there, which was nice as the service was very quick.
The rice and food was so good. We got the platter for 2 and there was so much food on there. We also got an appetizer with different sauces. It was amazing.
Highly recommend this restaurant if you want to taste a different type of food.
The food was amazing and the workers were so kind! One person who stood out the most was Duaa. She made me and my father feel extremely welcome and she broke down all language barriers. She was extremely kind and made us feel very comfortable. 10/10 i already recommended it to everyone I know
Our first experience of Turkish cuisine in Plymouth was a good one. Dunya offers a cosy, modern setting with a comfortable mixture of padded booths and chairs. You're greeted at the door by the hostess who seats you immediately (we booked for a Sunday evening which wasn't too busy). You can watch as your food is prepared as the grill and prep area is open.
We selected the sharing platter for two as it gives you a mixture of grills, accompanied with rice, bulgar wheat and salad. The portions are very generous (we took a third of our meal home). The riblets and chicken wings were succulent and tender. The kebabs were very tasty. And the beef and chicken portions were good too! As for the salad, it was notable as it was dressed in a very light and fresh dressing.
For dessert we shared a baklava (3 smalls cigars served with ice cream). It was the perfect sweet finish.
The food was authentic and the staff were polite and friendly :) Highly recommend.
