Love this chip shop. Always pop in if I'm in the area. Sat outside for 45mins as wanted to grab chips and chicken curry before I left Plymouth. Well worth the wait 😊

What a great local chippy. A real find in Plymouth. Fantastic value, the portions were huge. All the food was cooked fresh and tasted great. We will definitely call hete again when we are in the area.

Travelled across town to buy our chips as Benbows have been around for many years (I remember going there as a student - over 30 years ago) whilst being good value they always sold the best chips! So many chippy's chips are dry and hard chips nowadays so I had high hopes for Benbows and we weren't disappointed!

Wanted a traditional british chippy before heading back to our french home. What we were served was excellent, freshly prepared piping hot crispy battered cod with chips, generous portions, friendly staff. Highly recommend you search this one out.

OMG they even serve Saveloys! A rarity nowadays. Would have been 5 star if the Saveloy was battered! And if that's all I can say negative that's got to be positive. Set down a side street this unexpected delight of a traditional fish and chip shop truly goes the extra mile for it's customers. Great food, good portions, lovely staff. We will be returning and Highly recommending to all.
