Needed to go out for an unplanned lunch today while at my daughters in Plymouth, didn’t want any of the multitude of kebab’s/pizza/fried chicken in abundance around Mutley so opted for good old Fish ‘n Chips, Google found me Perillas a 9 minute walk away so went for it. “Dine In” was my choice and I gotta say it was a good move, opted for the ‘meal’ option with choice of sides and with a can of drink it all came out at less then £13, a bargain for lovely piece of fish with plenty of chips, ample portion of mushy peas and sliced bread. Could not fault the whole meal and the lunchtime cook/server/assistant was very pleasant, Thoroughly recommended if you are in the mood for Fish ‘n Chips, thanks and I definitely will be going back👍
We quite often treat ourselves to Perillas due to living just round the corner and I have to say it’s one of our favourite chip shops ever. The fish tastes fresh and the batter is crisp and not too greasy. Often with fish and chips you can get sick of the taste but not with Perillas. The staff are so lovely and always chatty!
What a wonderful Chip shop. The staff are so friendly and helpful. You can have a laugh with them. The food is superb and reasonably priced. There is a loyalty card scheme, but even if there wasn't I'd be there because the atmosphere is first class because of the staff. If you haven't been yet, you must. Don't miss out on this gem.
The building and the kitchen is spotless which shows the reliable food hygiene. Staff are always friendly and nice to me and my child. Everything is fairly priced and very tasty. I think their frying oil is one of the highest quality. The fish smells very very good 😃 This is by far the best Fish and chips take away and we even hesitate to move house from the reach when we had to. The picture I post is their breaded prawn which I fell in love. I bought take away and dish them up at home.
Husband and I had haddock and chips takeaway last Friday, fabulous!

Called into Perillas on my way home. What a change since last time! Counter extended, restaurant gone, sexy staff, and half the business for Deliveroo riders. But the fish and chips, despite the wait, were still first class.
Went to visit yesterday evening at 8:30 as both online and the door say they are open until 9 but they were shut which was disappointing. However, my partner and I visited again this evening and were nicely satisfied by our meal (costing just £14 for the two of us). Chips were lovely and crispy on the outside but fluffy inside and it was all made quickly and fresh. Need to clarify their opening times both online and at the store but other than that, will definitely visit again :)
