Called into Perillas on my way home. What a change since last time! Counter extended, restaurant gone, sexy staff, and half the business for Deliveroo riders. But the fish and chips, despite the wait, were still first class.

I have never had bad food from Perillas, and this weekend was no exception - thick chips with fluffy insides, and tender cod encased in fresh and crispy batter. Delicious!

Very good fish and chips.... thought I could taste some fenugreek in the batter.
