Came here after a very long cycle so wasnt in the best of condition to enjoy lots of beers but the Juice Forsyth was great! Good was also lovely, and we really couldnt get enough!
Great selection of beers on tap, plenty of interesting pints. Asian food on offer is very good. Good for veggies/vegans, lots of options.
We are not from the local area and googled bars around, absolutely loved this place! The bartender was lovely to our dog (always a bonus) and the food was superb!
We enjoyed playing scrabble and chess whilst enjoying the brews on tap.
5 stars goes to the music as well, about time a place threw in some decent rock bangers!
Would come back again if in the area, 100%.

Friendly bartender with good knowledge of the beers on tap, the food from Yuzu street food was incredible, all ordered through a qr code on the table really simple and easy to follow, this place is dog friendly also. Would highly recommend if your ever in pocklington
An excellent place for interesting drinks, friendly atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. Right in the town square it’s a step up from the usual pub offering and is dog friendly. Looking forward to eating there next time, the food looked great .

Saw the Simon Walker "Review" and thought "what an idiot" Im old school goth/horror punk, and have had problems with people like the reviewer Simon Walker. He like to cause trouble but won't say anything at the time. He like to throw verbal abuse at young alternatives in the street (which is a crime but we will skirt over that) he made a comment on the ale, nowt wrong with it. But as an ex landlord, you will get the odd time that you will have a slight issue, the fact he never said anything to the staff at the time, shows he has alteria motives. Don't be a Simon Walker, a nobody who loves to complain about things that never happened.

Great little place offering an interesting selection of craft ales. Plenty of seating and the food is good too. Ludicrous that they don't accept cash when asked why not they couldn't give me a straight answer. If it wasn't for this it would be superb.
I reviewed this pub about a year ago and I have to say it's the best pub in the village. Great selection of craft beers and a very warm welcome.
If you're wanting a pint of "fosters" go elsewhere!!!!.
I would highly recommend this pub, great atmosphere and you do not feel pressured in having to drink up and leave.
There are a lot of craft beer pubs that are pretentious and make you feel that you have to have a degree in craft beer to drink there. market Tap is not one of those pubs (or any brew york pub).
Try it and you will not be disappointed
Continue to be a great little pub, popped in and had a pint of clever gyle, while they were playing coal chamber. What more could you ask for on a Friday afternoon
