The Buccaneer

I have visited this restaurant for my last 3 visits to Polperro and I have never been disappointed. The Pizza is always a very generous size and gorgeous. It's a quirky little place and very different from the norm but that's part of its attraction. The walls are covered with music memorabilia which always sparks of a conversation. The bar is small but it suits the style of the place. And the service is spot on. Dogs are allowed which is a bonus for us. I doubt very much that you'll be disappointed if you go there to eat hence a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating.

We stumbled upon the buccaneer after walking into Polperro on the second evening of our holiday after a long day out to lands end, We arrived back to the village to find that all shops closed and most pubs stopped serving food at 8/8.30pm. We was all absolutely ravished and had a little peer though the window and with it getting later and later on we decided to sit inside and try it as we had our 5year old and the dog with us too. We are so glad we did, it's been one of the best meals we've had since being here, and the best pizza we've ever had. We sent back 4 clean pizza boards and three empty chip boxes. It was absolutely delicious. Cosy and bright setting and such a relaxed atmosphere, and the gent behind the bar and serving the food was lovely and smiley. We will be definitely back next year.

THE BEST PIZZA IN THE UK! We ate in one evening and had takeaway another. The pizzas are BEAUTIFUL! The service was good and they had a very friendly atmosphere. Bonus - they were dog friendly, so we could bring our furry kid along too, who just loved sharing my whitebait! The portion sizes are big and the prices good. Such a shame we found this place on holiday as we would be firm regulars if we were local.
