Loved the breakfast here. A properly cooked full english with tasty products. The feel and look ofnthis place is great. Seems a little expensive at first, but that fear was eroded once i saw the value for money that was delivered all ends. Well done and I hope to see you again soon

What a great little place this is. Eggs Benedict is my absolute breakfast and everywhere else I have been the portions have been tiny. Not at Mauds. A huge portion. Reasonably priced and great service with local produce. We will be back.

What lovely, welcoming, friendly staff! A pleasure to be served here. Up by the Buttercross and easy to find - it's just down the snickleway marked as Maud's Yard. (Clue is in the name, lolol.) Vegetarian options available. Reasonably priced. Warm and lovely staff. Very child friendly with innovative ideas to keep them occupied. Has some outdoor seating too along the snickleway itself. Good portions. I had a hot chocolate and later a cranberry juice. Halloumi, cabbage slaw and chilli jam flatbread was served with chips and was all totally yum. The skin on chips were slightly floppy and a little greasy, but tasted fab. Really good house made chips. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal here and I would recommend and revisit. All lovely!

Went for breakfast with a friend. Food very high quality and for a reasonable price too. Staff were amazing - 100 percent would recommend visiting. Can’t wait to try other things on menu too.

Hard to find, but we'll worth a visit. Had breakfast with my father. I had eggs Royale and my father, a small English. All beautifully cooked. The flat white coffee was great aswell. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend a visit.

Ok. So I'm glad I found this little place. So let's start with service, pretty quick and very polite, the black coffee is quite smooth, not really that bitter, I felt the skinny cappuccino was not that great, maybe it's me I don't know. The scone was excellent not dry, nice sweet but rich flavour and not dry, not overly sweet which I liked. The strawberry jam tasted of quite a high quality, nice strawberry notes, nice and fresh and not overly sweet like cheap strawberry jam. The only thing I would probably change is the butter for it, try and get something locally sourced but that might be me just being picky, overall a nice place to relax.

Service did take a minute or two but the staff were lovely and apologised, we only nipped in for some coffee and we wasn’t disappointed, lovely atmosphere, a good place for a catch up.

A friend and me went to the bottomless brunch. Everything was excellent. The staff serving were friendly and quick with refills. The cocktails were really tasty, I was very impressed with the quality of mixers. The food, amazing, my friend had a burger and chips, it was huge. I have dietary requirements and it was no bother at all for alterations to be made to the jambalaya, the portion was huge and it was really tasty. I've done a few bottomless brunches over the years and this was by far the best. Highly recommend and I'm planning to go back asap!
