Went for the first time tonight, what a great place. Really friendly owner who definitely takes pride in his food and shop. Great prices, takes card, makes his own tartar sauce and has parking!

Excellent food, service, and pricing. The young lady at the cash register was delightful. This was my first experience at a "Chippy" and I thoroughly enjoyed an authentic experience. The fish and chips were cooked to perfection and the portions were large. The mushey peas were new to me and were very tasty. I would highly recommend going to Carleton Fisheries. Especially if you haven't had an authentic Chip shop experience.

Absolutely fantastic. My family always get fish and chips on a Friday so it goes without saying, I've tried a lot of fish and chips shops. However, I've never had any as succulent and delicious as the fish and chips made in this establishment. This is the pinnacle of quality fish and chips.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Best Fish and Chips around. I would especially recommend the fish bites, which are really moist inside and crisp outside, and you get loads in a large portion. One portion of chips will do two normal servings, and they make their own tartar sauce.
