We had an overnight stay here. The room was well presented, clean and comfortable. One observation was that we heard other guests entering the location via the communal entrance. The breakfast in the morning was a choice of cereal, pastries and fruit. I would have liked a cooked option. Another tip is to remember to register your car at the bar when parking to avoid a possible fine.

I’m a regular here and it’s always been a good village pub. A lot of people complaining about the parking situation. I forgot to register my car recently and got a fine. Contacted the pub and they immediately got in touch with the 3rd party responsible and got the ticket cancelled with no hassle at all.
Thanks again guys.

Great party held up stairs. Friendly staff, drinks not expensive. But it was so hot as no windows seemed to open and even with the rear door open it was absolutely boiling hot. Good place for a party but definitely needs some way of letting air through when full.

Been here before, our special needs son 'Finley' loved it last time.
And he loved it this time!!! He loves the carpet and the positive/friendly/welcoming atmosphere!
The staff were great, service at the bar was very quick. And they were absolutely fine about Finley having his own drink from home!
One thing remember to register your parking at the bar!

We stayed here for two nights. The staff was lovely, I would say the rooms were slightly more upmarket than a Premier Inn room. We had a triple room and it was very clean and well presented. The bathroom was nice and modern with a large shower. There is a tv and tea and coffee facilities in the room.
The breakfast was a continental breakfast as they don’t currently have a chef. There was a nice range of food and it was served with tea or a choice of various freshly made barista coffees.
The staff (the bar staff, breakfast staff and cleaning staff) were all lovely and very welcoming. They seemed to really care how our stay was going.
The car park was very busy but we managed to find a space each time we returned to it. Just remember to book in your car in the pub.
The pub was lively and had a good atmosphere, there was a good range of beers and nice areas to sit, with plenty of screens to watch the football.
