I'd like to start by saying nothing was wrong with the service, other than being seated by a door we were told was not used apart from for pushchairs or wheelchair users, this was not the case, it was used regularly. …
Visited for Sunday lunch. The pork was superb but unfortunately the beef was a bit gristly and chewy. The atmosphere was lovely though and the beers fantastic, really pleasant pub. Service was a little slow but that didnt worry us too much as we were in no hurry. Vegan roast was also available
Me and my girlfriend came here Thursday for Dinner and we opted for the Ploughman’s board and the Cheesecake of the day. Martyn’s service was phenomenal and the food from Tom (chef) was superb🙌🏻. Will be coming back here again …
Another lovely roast dinner at The Rope and Anchor which is fast becoming a firm favourite. Always a warm welcome from the owners and the food never disappoints! Highly recommend!
