Amazing food with equally amazing attentive staff. We felt like we were being very well looked after without the staff being overzealous. Halloumi starter was very tasty and refreshing. Mixed grill sharer was amazing. Windhoek beer was a fantastic choice to wash it down with. Would definitely reco
Really lovely restaurant and food. Lovely ambience and interesting cocktails which aren't strong. We had the meat grill, a sharer for two and it beat us. Will definitely go again.
Exceptional food and service! An absolute cracker of a place. The food was impeccable and the service was first class. We tried to stick to Zimbabwean food, to get a real feel for it, and we were impressed. My partner is Zimbabwean so guided me through the options and we ordered lots; we weren't l

Evening with Ken Forrester. Really excellent experience featuring the wonderful Ken from South Africa and his winery in Stellenbosch. I am a big fan of his Chenin Blanc and this allowed me to better acquaint myself with his vineyard selection and discover some new surprises! The food on offer was pr
Really excellent in all respects. Our dishes included mixed grill, Durban beef curry, Zim prawns and a burger - all excellent. Nospresso martini mocktail also excellent, as were desserts. Service was friendly, explaining dishes very clearly, and also very attentive. Overall - highly recommended!
Fabulous food and flavours, very filling and good value. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful, and made some great suggestions for our lunch which we thoroughly enjoyed. Will most definitely come here again. Great choice of breakfast / brunch, light lunch and more filling meals. Comfort

Great place; interesting and unusual menu whilst having plenty of safer options. Friendly staff, great decor and nice atmosphere. Only got photo of the dessert! I will happily return :)
The food here is INCREDIBLE. Ordered the BBQ pork ribs to start, amazing. Ordered the Mauritius fish curry, BBQ brisket sandwich, and Zim potatoes for mains, amazing. We didn’t like the first bottle of wine, but the management staff were so good to replace it with a similar type of wine for little c
This was not my first time visiting Zim Braai. It is a lovely restaurant with a modern, African inspired theme to it. The staff were friendly and attentive and the whole thing led to a lovely ambiance. On this visit I had the sword fish which came out cooked well and in a lovely sauce. As I side it
Excellent meal as always, ordered the mixed grill for me and my wife to share and there was more than enough food. Highly recommend
Very nice service from the ladies on shift and the food was super good. I started with the Witch Doctor cocktail which looked great in a funky glass and wasn't too sweet. For food I had the chicken skewers for a starter which were nicely flavoured with a nice little spice kick and then had the Durba
If you like or are interested in Southern African food, Zim Braai is the place for you. The atmosphere is one of laid back, African cool that's suitable for couples, groups and families. The food was excellent (my wife had the Ostrich Steak and I had the Chicken Cape Malay Curry as a bunny chow) and
1st time out after easing of lockdown rules. Birthday treat. Firstly everything was set-up for social distancing well. We felt safe and the atmosphere was calming. The measures put in place were excellent. Secondly, the food and the service was amazing. Informed staff when we questioned what thing
I would definitely come back for the grilled ostrich steak from the braai part of the menu. So easy to cut into and delicious. Loved it. The sauce was nice but a bit sweet for me as I don't have a sweet tooth at all. The restaurant decor was lovely and bathroom was clean. The staff were very helpful
My 1st experience with Zimbabwe food absolutely love it.
