Called in for a bite to eat. The food was great. The vegetarian chilli was good. And the pie had plenty of meat in it. Even the dog managed a pint. Okay she had water. But she enjoyed it all the same. Good value, đź‘Ť
Good quality Badger beers are served, a single bar, with a pool table. Fairly basic interior, but makes the most of what it has to offer.
Had another lovely lunch here today the banter from the landlord was good having our party in fits of laughter. The food was excellent especially the pear and ginger crumble.
Will definitely be booking again.
We enjoyed two excellent evening meals accompanied by real ales. There is a popular pool table and juke box. The beers were Badger Best, Fursty Ferret and Tanglefoot. Just 100 yards from Poole Quay but nice and quiet compared to the hustle and bustle.
