The Acorn is a very friendly pub with really great food at reasonable prices. Its a great place to visit for lunch and a catch up and also great place to go for a meal with friends in the evening. The outdoor area is perfect for families with a brilliant play area and ping pong table. Theres a pub quiz every Monday evening from 9-11pm which is great fun. The staff are really lovely and go above and beyond to help you in any way. I fully recommend The Acorn Pub!
Great food, staff and dog friendly. Beer garden, pool table and table tennis! Plenty to keep young ones entertained. Good menu at great value, highly recommend this little gem. Thank you

Popped in here for lunch with my little one, just by chance as we'd noticed the outside play area there, and the local soft-play was shut for the day.
The food was really nice, staff were all smiling and more than happy to help, and the climbing frame, slide and swings out the back are a great addition.
5 stars all round for this pub! The Sunday roasts are delicious and the 5 star service from the lady behind the bar. She was very bubbly, friendly and attentive. Will definitely return.

Visited here after being invited by friends.Have not been to this pub for many many years and was quite surprised.
Spacious, lovely atmosphere,clean & well laid out.
Friendly attentive staff with Very good selection of alcoholic drinks for all tastes.
Simple bar food menu which we used & was very good value for money.
Dog friendly for the well behaved ones if that's of interest to you.
Well worth the visit & will definitely be back again very soon.

We didn't eat here, but met friends for a drink who live close by. For a Saturday night, it was quiet, but that suited us fine.
Absolutely blown away by the food here it was amazing,highly recommend steak and chips the portions were generous and good quality food .
