I visit here frequently for my chicken in batter and it never disappoints. Marco the owner runs the staff with military precision and on a Friday the queue can be extensive and I’m sure exhaustive to the staff. Marco and the staff keep the place spotless and he is a top guy dedicated to his customers. The length of the queue is testament to his well earned success. 👏 👏
This chippy has been around as long as I can remember. I moved to America when I was nine and returned to the Port in my twenties. Louie's tastes just how I remember it as a kid. It is a family tradition when they visit from overseas to get fish and chips oot Louie's. Magic!

Good old fashioned Chippy. Portions are generous and reasonably priced. There is a huge amount to choose from on the menu from good old Fish and Chips to battered pizza slices and everything inbetween. Alot of other chip shops would do well to visit Louis's and take note.
Only got a small fish and stole my mates chip's absolutely lovely, pleasant and friendly staff
Best fish supper in town, huge portions and crispy batter.
Freshly cooked fish ,great portion size, and very reasonable on the pocket would recommend

Best Fish and Chips not only in The Port, but the U.K. as well.
The ladies made me up a right chips and gravy with a pickle (pickled onion), salt, vinegar and a roll.
Cousin big Andrew Duffy made a wee video for us over in America. The ladies were very gracious. The food is always the best!!!
The best chip shop around. My family and I have been going here for years and years. Amazing food, large portions and staff are always so polite.
