First time visitors and we rang to reserve a table. Fantastic staff who seated us at a table with amazing vista of Porthgain’s industrial slate mining history. Amazing food and plenty of it so bring your appetites! Recommend the fish pie and Seafood basket.

Very nice pub. Great atmosphere. Friendly people. We came here for Sunday Roast, but unfortunately it wasn't on the menu. I had the fish and chips instead and that was very good.
Absolute must visit if you visit Porthgain harbour and you fancy a drink or food. We both opted for a sandwich it came with salad and crisps. The staff are super friendly, the food was lovely. We saw a few other dishes on the table next to us which looked incredible. Very quick service. Highly recommend. Definately visit again.

Has a great meal here despite being pre warned that they had problems with kitchen equipment. Luckily the deep fryer was working so I had the fish platter I was hoping for anyway. Service with friendly smiles, good pub food and an interesting collection of maritime artefacts on the walls.
I haven't been in this area for many years and it was every bit as lovely as I remember. The food was fab and the staff relaxed and cheerful. I had the fish pie and my partner the fresh fish. Today we toasted my partners lovely sailor dad's passing anniversary so perfect place for it. So worth a visit. Mat and Ciara
