Ordered online, which was easy. Arrived at the indicated collection time. Lady was friendly but thought we had ordered by phone - a few moments of confusion but quickly sorted. The food was ready as promised. The premises are 'odd'. It's just a take-away, not a restaurant or bar, but clearly used to be more. However, the food (a set meal for 4) was plentiful and tasty. We enjoyed our meal and would happily return.

Highly recommended; and please read on if you are looking forward to a flavoursome, feel good, non-take out feel, home cooked and nothing more than freshly prepped food to satisfy. Take a walk, don't bother with delivery whilst you are stopping here, just walk on the high-street, we're not in the city it's peaceful and take a moment. We had to try a different takeaway than the usual on the high street (both otherwise were unfortunately closed, though nice the other two are; after this...), so we gave Orchily a go. So close to China I can't describe the intense, fresh aromas both in scent and taste. With it's own cultural significance, unwilted and crisp vegetables, braised chunks of garlic, give or take your own preference, perfectly authentic Sichuan style prawns with dry fried green beans as a mere example. This restaurant/takeaway deserves an accolade not just for it's amazing food and warm service but passion for purely the food that they prepare. Thank you for dinner and I hope you never change in any aspect in regard to the food that is served.

Update what a difference a few months make we ordered again this evening for 7pm got there at five to meal was ready for collection. Restaurant quality food and plenty of it Our new takeaway when we’re down in Porthmadog Thanks —————————————————————- Their a new business give them a chance all hospitality trade are struggling for staff We Ordered from here on sat eve for a delivery between 6-15 and 6-45 that didn’t come I rang at 7-15 to ask where it was they apologised for it being late but they are short of drivers and said we could collect in 30 mins My wife waited with several other very disgruntled customers for 15 mins over the half hour arranged collection time no communication from any staff so we left and bought food from another take away I then received a call at 8-05 from the delivery driver saying she was at the site gate I explained what had happened refused the order Today I got a phone call off the owner apologising for the mistake it was his fault as he never communicated the change to his staff so they sent the order out. I told him we appreciate the apology and will try them again when we’re next in Porthmadog

Ive never had a problem with this takeaway. Food Quality is very good!! I have to defend this takeaway from the 1 star reviews its recicved recently, demand for takeaway food is higher than its ever been and i know this takeaway is finding it hard to get staff. Give this place a chance. They are worth it!
