Arrived rather late in the evening and was accommodated straight away,the staff were more than welcoming, atmosphere was nice and the food was first class.

Been several times when I come up to visit family. Nice pub grub, my lasagna was only slightly hot but was still nice.

Really nice food and generous helpings. Friendly staff, we enjoyed it so much we were there twice in the week we were on holiday.

TLDR; Remote bar and restaurant that's external appearance doesn't do justice. Decent food at a reasonable price.
Located off the beaten track beside a static caravan site, don't be put off the drab external appearance of The Galloway. It houses a modern and clean bar and restaurant at prices which won't make your eyes water.
Food is a mixed bag, some fresh and some frozen. Though it must be noted that everything tasted great. Drinks are a plenty, though limited to which largers are available or in stock.
Ice cream, along with many other desserts, coffees and cakes are available too.
All in all a lovely place for a bite to eat with attentive and friendly staff.
