Family breakfast this morning, lovely staff and the best cooked breakfast I've had in a long time. I also love it when a 'Belly Buster' lives up to its name. Thank you everyone, will definitely be back again. Dave & Family

Good food, friendly staff, but a little pricey. Two English fried breakfast and 2 hot drinks was nearly £24. Very enjoyable, but at that price, we could only visit the once 😢

Our choices for where we eat and drink nowadays are considerable and if there is something we don’t like about that place we generally vote with our feet. However, now and again one finds a place where all the constituent elements come together. A choice of well prepared and presented food a large selection of home made cakes and a great atmosphere. The ‘Tideline Cafe’ in Portreath is one of those gems, yes for the above but mostly for the wonderful welcome we always get from Linda and Lee. I love going there and always look forward to some friendly banter. It’s warm welcoming environment makes it a ‘must try’ should you be in the area.

The best cooked breakfast I've had, I think, and I've had quite a few! Place is spotlessly clean and tidy but does allow well behaved dogs which I think's great. The owner and chef is a great chap who's very pleasant to chat to and his staff very friendly. Look forward to going back next time we're in the area.

Situated at the end of Portreath furthest from the beach is this fantastic little café. Seating around twenty to thirty people, it is popular with the locals and visitors on holiday. The menu has a variety of dishes for all tastes, and starts serving at breakfast, then on through brunch, lunch and into afternoons. We went for brunch on a weekday, and had one vegetarian and one full English breakfast. We each had a large mug of filter coffee. Service was at a relaxed pace, and the food was really excellent; hot, perfectly cooked and good sized portions. The bacon was especially good for me. The coffee is the Lavaza brand, and is a really great flavour. We paid £15.20 which is excellent value for what we had. The girl serving and the chef/owner were very friendly and chatting with us. A large group of locals were there too, and the place had a lively atmosphere. Local art and charity books are sold here too. The café is fully accessible with an accessible toilet towards the back of the dining area. Parking outside is free. On street parking is free but limited to 30 minutes. We thought the Atlantic café was great; Tideline is even better.

Always a friendly welcome here. Just a quick cappuccino for my wife and I before she had her nails done at sea and salt . love the chat and owner even carried coffee to salon for my wife as didn't want to be late for appointment.

A lovely cafe, with fantastic food & with the kindest staff! The Scottish lady behind the counter (sorry I didn't ask her name for this review) was SO welcoming and even gave us a list of breath taking beaches to visit on our trip and also told us of local events too! Cannot recommend enough!! 💚

Superb food. My wife recently had fish cakes on the special and they were, "the best she'd ever had". I had delicious ham, duck egg and chips. The portions are decent and the prices are very reasonable. The service is extremely friendly and it is just a lively place to be. I will be a frequent visitor.

My family and I went here for breakfast whist on holiday in Portreath. We had a lovely English breakfast with fried egg, bacon, sausage, spicy beans, tomato and mushroom. Accompanied with soda bread toast and a pot of tea. Yummy.

What a lovely place to go to, yummy breakfast off a delicious sounding menu and nice and hot coffees, which were all served very promptly. In terms of current safety measures, spacing etc was nicely done, so I'd feel very happy to return. Best of all was the level of service, all the regulars were greeted by name, and myself and my friend were made to feel equally welcome, nothing was too much trouble and the vibe was one of warmth and friendliness, definitely worth a visit, repeatedly 😊
