I have tried the bakery cafe at pool on many occasions and the food has always been great value for money, the staff are very polite and it's a nice relaxed place to have lunch or just a coffee & piece of cake. Tonight was the first time I have been to one of their special dine in evenings......wow a 6 course taster menu for £25 exceptional value and the food and tastes were out of this world. Compliments to the chef and well done Marion and your team you really have created a little gem on Wilson way
My two children and I have coeliac disease so to find a bakery that caters for us with delicious sweets and savouries at a normal price is fantastic. The food is amazing and I can’t recommend them enough. My family that aren’t GF even prefer the gf pasties to any others. Thank you Made Marion for making us all very happy x
Very friendly helpful staff. Good selection of Gluten Free including Vegetarian and Vegan items in their freezer. Need to bake the Pasties or defrost the cakes. The gluten free Pasty I had was just like a standard one. I have been again and purchased more. I highly recommend the Gluten Free pasties.
Beautiful hot and tasty pasties. Very good price for the size you get. You can get a cuppa there too.
Great food, great team and customer service, would have loved to have a cuppa with them but they were very busy.
The GF range is very good.
I've tried the GF pasties, sausage rolls, scones and bread. All very good and some of the best I've had.

We had a delivery today of 10 cocktail steaks plus a cream tea. Pasties excellent as always.
The cream that came with this is 5 days past the best before date which is disappointing. Only just noticed this after putting on the scones and we are not going to be risking eating this now.
UPDATE: Someone visited next day and apologised with new set of cream and scones. Very good, thank you so much.

Can only comment on what I got, and it was all good. Had a cake that was 70p - 3 portions of it! Was really nice. Also had a pasty for the missus, she said it was OK, as was hungry, but that she'd had a lot better. Staff were nice, I would 100% visit again. They do Ruby Chocolate muffins too, good to see more Ruby around, however, I needed coffee with mine as quite dry. Not sure if that was by design, so, was fine.

Friendly staff, welcomed with a smile. Lovely steak pasties and sausage rolls we purchased. The cakes looked delicious too, especially the lemon tarts. Will return another time if in the area.
