Quiet, clean, relaxing atmosphere. The fish and chips are splendid, best around according to many locals, and I believe it. The mushy peas, curry sauce, and tea is also all fantastic, and both the haddock and cod (and whitebait starters) are terrific. Finally, the sticky pudding is outstanding. You

Food is really good and at good price, love the fact that chips are actual fried potatoes and not the frozen ones they serve in pubs. The staff is fantastic and very polite. Strongly suggested.
I'm an expat Brit who has moved to Canada -- when I come back to visit my family top of my list is to have "proper fish and chips". I always make a point to come here. I recently ordered a feast for my whole family, 5 pieces of cod, chips and battered sausage. The chips and nice and chunky, the fish
