I'm so glad I found Melody's! The food (especially the bread and butter pudding and soup of the day) was outstanding. The service was friendly and welcoming and the interior is modern and clean. There were plenty of delicious sounding meals to choose from on the menu, as far as I know everything is cooked fresh on the premises. I wish I lived in Southsea so I could frequent Melody's more. I'll definitely be visiting again.

Me and my friend went there for breakfast and the service was simply 10/10, I regret not asking her name but she seemed like the boss! Not only she was an angel, the food was also divine. The place was warm and quiet, we had a very peaceful breakfast time! But again, kudos to the woman that attended us, so sweet we even felt motherly loved hahaha 10/10

I ordered the Savoury Mixed Platter today for my sons 17th birthday for four of us, as all stuck indoors due to ‘lockdown’. It was lovely & so much better than I could have expected. Lots of it, great selection of sandwiches, savoury bites, sausages rolls and bhajis etc. All good quality ingredients and fresh. Melody delivered it & supplied plates & napkins at no extra cost. I asked for no tomatoes and that was not a problem. Reliable and fantastic value for money. Would definitely recommend and order from her again.

Quality food, exceptional service from staff who cater for everyone's needs. Melody provided an amazing picnic last weekend to celebrate my dad's 84th birthday. We were a group of 16 family and friends ranging from 11 to 90 years celebrating this special occasion. The picnic was absolutely perfect and thoroughly enjoyed by all. There was a brilliant range of sweet and savoury foods, plenty for everyone and absolute quality. This is the place to go if you want homemade food which is tasty and varied where the staff genuinely care about catering to your needs. We travelled from all over the country to meet up in Portsmouth/Southsea and the best part of the weekend was definitely the picnic. My dad, Ken Reynolds said this was the best birthday he has ever had! Thank you Melody and your team. You made our weekend even more special!

Fab food and service. We called into Melody’s today with my mother, who’s in a wheelchair. The staff could not have been more helpful, in accommodating us and our differing food orders. We had sandwiches, quiche, cakes and tea, all were absolutely delicious. The place was spotless and the staff were lovely and very friendly. We enjoyed the food so much, we ordered takeaway to have for our tea. Highly recommended.
