Good coffee and food (a late breakfast). We happened to have chaotic service (lost order), but it was busy and judging by other comments this is not typical. We say at a nice table on the pavement.

Found this place while in need of a nice hangover breakfast. It delivered in every way, great coffee, amazing fry up and friendly and helpful staff. 10/10 would tea tray again

Absolutely Brilliant Tea Room. Any time that I'm in the Portsmouth area, I always make a point of popping in. Can highly recommend for a quite coffee, cake and food. Staff are super friendly and really welcoming!

Really great place. I fully recommend the cheddar sandwich on granary. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Great atmosphere and music. Love the beautiful, vintage china.

Have lived next to this little place for almost a year now and never bothered to go in until today, what a mistake I've made! LOVELY cakes, and fantastic staff! Felt welcome right away and will be happy to stop by again, yum yum! Thank you guys! :)

Wonderfully welcoming, friendly withought being overly in your face, proper tea-pots (which are filled full) with proper tea (no bags) served as though you were in the Ritz.
I've only tried two meals so far: the ham and cheese quiche served with beetroot and greens (lovely) and on the day when they'd stopped serving hot meals by 4pm I tried a slice of Bakewell (very nice, with the base little crisp to manage with just my fork).
Being able to poor three cups of tea from the proper china pot into my proper china tea cup was lovely.
I'm going back a third time :)
