Fresh. Bright flavours, much better than the bland chain. I try to stop by each time I visit Portsmouth and opted for beef and mango salad this time. The flavours are well balanced and the salad was really sharp with a good dose of fresh spice, without being overwhelming. You can eat well for £15 per head plus drinks, £12 for a typical main but I usually get two sides. It's a simple cafe style environment, good for couples and small groups.

Fantastic, authentic vietnamese food. Been here a couple of times and it's always excellent. Reasonably priced. The only problem we have is deciding which dish to order!!!

Good selection on the menu, reasonably priced for the portion sizes you get too. Couple of nasty gristle parts on chicken and beef was quite chewy on one dish hence marking down to 4 stars. Mixed service, some super friendly and others looked like they really didn't want to be there. Second visit and would happily go back to try other new dishes as overall enjoyed it!

The food was very good and the portions were big as well. I ordered a beef soup (pho bo), and it was tasty. I also ordered pork and shrimp spring rolls, and they were huge. The restaurant is not very big inside but it is nice and has a beautiful atmosphere. I would recommend this place if you are missing Vietnamese food. I have lived 2 months and travelled around Vietnam, and sometimes I feel nostalgic when I think about the fresh food and the lovely places and people there. If you feel like that I would suggest you visit this restaurant. The price was also affordable (of course, not as cheap as in Vietnam)

We popped in for lunch during half term and were not disappointed! Delicious food, we ordered a Pho (which the owner kindly let us half for my children), satay chicken and spring rolls and a spicy pho. All super delicious! Can't wait to come back. Thank you 🥢🇻🇳🍜🙏🏼

Booked a table and the restaurant was absolutely full so relieved we booked and my goodness me it was worth it. I have never tried Vietnamese food and I can be a difficult customer as I don’t have a great heat tolerance but I needn’t have worried. The me he was great and I appreciated that many dishes have the meat or vegetarian option. I love this idea! I am not a huge fan of tofu and this features a lot in the vegetarian options which worried me but I really hadn’t because it was amazing! I can’t wait to go back. Best spring rolls I’ve ever eaten, tofu was amazing, delicious noodles. I ordered far too much because the portions are really good but gave it my best shot to finish it because it was so nice. No photos I’m afraid.. next time (and there will be) I’d love to see a tofu satay option as a veg alternative to chicken satay. :)

High quality food! I have tried the Steamed Ham and the Spicy Noodle Soup, and it tastes amazing, especially the soup. All worth the price, and additionally students can claim a 10% discount as well! Certainly the best restaurant of Asian cuisine in Portsmouth!
