Visited here a few times now and always enjoy the simplicity of the food. Great Middle Eastern flavours and plenty on your plate. You can't leave here feeling hungry.
Always nice to finish with a Lebanese coffee.
They don't have an alcohol licence though, which some may think is a bad thing, personally it makes no difference to me.

We visited again and found the food to be excellent. Decent value too.
A unpretentious good quality restaurant.
June 2023: On a rare night without children about, my wife and I decided to try "Cedar".
We were not disappointed. Sides and mains were very good and reasonably priced. We ate our fill and the bill came to just over £40.
Lavatory was spotlessly clean also!

The best restaurant that i found in UK is Cedar. The restaurant welcomed us with warm and friendly. The mains was good with all of meals we love. We enjoyed the food.The customer service was outstanding, and the food was exactly what I was looking for.They went above and beyond to help me find the perfect item. I was very impressed with the quality and quantity of the food I received.Delicious food, appealing atmosphere, helpful staff, and brilliant service. After a long time i felt something homely. The taste of home food i got from Cedar restaurant. To me, Cedar is the best Lebanese restaurant in Portsmouth. Every person who wants to taste real taste of Lebanese food should eat and taste the yummy food. Almost every time i prefer to eat food from Cedar restaurant. The smell, presentation, quality, quantity of food is amazing here. I can still feel the taste in my mouth. ❤️❤️

We were in Portsmouth for the weekend and searched ahead of time for a place to eat Lebanese food, which we love. We
chose Cedar, and were not disappointed. We had a fantastic meal on Sunday night (4th June). The spicy sausage mezze was to die for, all the food was fabulous and great value too. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Portsmouth. 5 stars and highly recommended by us.
