Such a delightful place! Accidentally stumbled upon this place in the park while looking for somewhere to have breakfast. Plenty of different options, good vegetarian and vegan celection! We had a vegetarian breakfast and cranberry& camembert toasty (the last one is absolutely yummy!). Decent coffee too. But the best is being able to enjoy this all in the greenery and shade of the park trees 😍

The cafe offers a solid start to the morning. Their coffee is consistently good, and the breakfast options are satisfying. While nothing overly fancy, the quality is dependable and the prices are reasonable. It's a straightforward spot to grab a good meal without any fuss. A reliable choice for those in the area.

Brilliant little cafe. Staff were so lovely and friendly.
Food was delicious. We had the mega breakfast, fish finger sandwich, lemon cake and home-made bread pudding. All amazing and fantastic value. Everything was perfect.

Love this place and regularly visit on a Saturday morning. The coffee served is Mozzo Coffee which is smooth and a good taste and served with a smile. The bacon sandwiches are lovely, with good thick bacon and nice bread. The venue is small, but well laid out, and the little walled garden is delightful to sit out. Like Victoria Park itself, it's hard to remember you're in the middle of Portsmouth city. To top it off, it is operated by the Society of St James 'providing employment and training opportunities to local people with histories of homelessness and substance misuse.' You can also buy a Pay it Forward coffee, which will be given to someone who needs it.

My new lunch stop, sensational stilton and broccoli soup and plethora of cakes to choose from. Apologies, as I finished the soup so quickly I forgot to take the photo before I started. We also had tea, homemade Viennese swirl and ginger/ honey cake.

This is in the beautiful Victoria Park. I had cappuccino and bread pudding. I would have liked a lot more sices in the bread pudding. But I still enjoyed the treat. The toilets were nice and clean.

Lovely venue sat out in the dappled shade in the courtyard. Great food, the Mega Breakfast including a pot of tea is amazing value at £8, cheaper than Wetherspoons! But the best part is the friendly and helpful staff, they are the real stars of this cafe. See you again soon and keep up the great work for a really valuable cause.

Cosy, warm cafe with exceptionally friendly staff.
I ordered a hot chocolate (£3.85) and it was of premium quality. Enjoyable stay and would highly recommend if it's moody or cold outside!
Very clean and welcoming place to stop in for drinks, and I would recommend sitting next to the window to watch the traffic pass at the junction.

Fantastic little cafe situated in the corner of Victoria park.I bought my daughter here for lunch, I'd never been before and it didn't dissapoint. Ample seating is available inside aswell as a little outside courtyard and beyond into the park. Also caters from a takeaway hatch.Clean, well presented, reasonably priced, friendly staff. Menu choices we're varied consisting of sandwiches, toasties, cooked breakfasts, jacket potatoes, cakes coffee and more. Vegan also available. Will definitely return in the future. Highly recommend this establishment.

Such a sweet, little place tucked into the corner of a lovely park. Clean and uncluttered cafe that was a reprieve from the moody weather.
There are a ton of food options - including vegan and vegetarian options! They also have a little tea with a warm scone that was so good! I’m not quite into British culture enough to drink tea, so I had an iced coffee that was perfect.
The woman who took my order was very kind and the service was so fast! There is a definite sense of pride in the place the employees / volunteers are working. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer person.
This location works for a charity that is fully described on their menu!
Recommendation: 10/10. Absolutely. I’ll be back soon. If you sneak in for a bite or drink, know that you’re supporting a fantastic location and mission.
